This photograph was likely taken by George...This vintage semi-matte silver gelatin print is mounted to a two-toned textured mat with embossed boarder around the print. Numbered on the reverse. This photograph was likely taken by George Hatch Banfield, who assisted the early Yosemite photographer Arther C. Pillsbury, until Pillsbury's studio burned in 1927. With loss of his investment and employment, Banfield committed suicide in 1929.
