This unique album is one of two known photo albums published by The Studio of the Three Arrows, established in 1902 by photographer Harold Taylor and his partner Eugene Hallett. While Taylor only photographed Yosemite between 1902 and 1907, these images fill in the gap between George Fiske of the late 19th-century and Arthur Pillsbury, Harry Best, Ansel Adams, et al., of the early 20th. Each print is hinged to an album leaf, which is signed in pencil recto. The title page and 14 matte-surface platinum prints are all bound in a read leather sleeve. Taylor's photographs are scarce to the point of obscurity, and this is the only example of his prints to have come on the market. Please note that the photos of the prints are not as rich as the prints in person due to lighting.
